Overview

Jeff is a well-seasoned litigator, with over 20 years of experience representing clients in all phases of litigation. From California state court, to Federal court, from arbitration to appellate court, Jeff is both comfortable and effective in the courtroom, successfully representing a diverse range of clients, including individuals, small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, and municipalities. Jeff has the breadth of knowledge to handle claims involving breach of contract, construction defect, breach of fiduciary duty, real estate, fraud, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, class action prosecution and defense, securities litigation, hazardous materials, product defect, personal injury and a variety of other types of cases.

Jeff has substantial trial experience and has tried a number of cases to verdict, including jury trials, court trials, and binding arbitration. In addition, Jeff has handled multiple appeals to both the California Court of Appeal and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Jeff was selected as California “Super Lawyer Rising Star” for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011.

Jeff obtained a BS from UCLA in 1994 in Mathematics and Applied Science and his JD from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 1997. During law school, he served as a staff writer and then as Note and Comment Editor for the Entertainment Law Journal. After passing the bar in 1997, he became a lawyer at Baker, Keener & Nahra LLP in Los Angeles, and was made a partner in 2002. He next joined Coleman Frost LLP in El Segundo in 2015, and remained there until becoming a founding partner of Forum Law Partners LLP in 2017.

Jeff is a member of the Board of Directors for Hermosa Beach Little League, and is a long-time season ticket holder for UCLA athletics.
